The position
In close cooperation with the other colleagues in the second line of defense Risk and Compliance Department, this role strengthens the risk awareness and integrity of the organization, fostering a risk-based and integrity conscious culture, and lifting risk management and compliance to the levels required based on the risk appetite that will be defined within this state enterprise. With that, the role contributes to the sustainable value creation and good reputation of our client.
The department is responsible for the risk and compliance policies and procedures, including the different models the organization wants to use. The team monitors the execution of the processes on risk management and compliance and prepares a second line risk and compliance opinions on individual transactions.
The Financial Restructuring & Recovery Officer closely monitors our client’s Capital “IIC” and DGGF/DTIF files that are deferred to “Restructuring and Recovery” and takes the lead in problem analysis, drafting of restructuring plans and negotiations with clients.
The reporting line is into the Director Risk & Compliance (second line of defense) who reports into the CFRO.
Responsibilities
- Handle loans from IIC portfolio and the DGGF/DTIF portfolio that are deferred to Restructuring & Recovery.
- Taking the lead in problem analysis, drafting restructuring plans, negotiations with clients.
- Help prepare reports to senior management on the restructuring portfolio.
- Maintain relationships with relevant external parties.
- Safeguard our client’s values in the core of its activities.
Support the Risk, Compliance I-ESG team where needed, when time allows.
